Cone Nebula

Updated: 12.4.03

The Cone Nebula is part of the extensive nebulosity of NGC2264 in Monoceros. Although there is some field curvature due to the focal reducer (not optimized for the larger H9C chip), the detail in and around the Cone still came out reasonably well. This image was taken at the Chiefland Star Party, 2003.
