Saturn

Here is an image of Saturn with the width approaching maximum presentation This image was taken just after opposition (early December) at the CFAS club's dark site just before the fog rolled in. The air was very still, humid and warm for a December night. Eight images were stacked to generate this image. Both the 'C' ring and the Encke minima (not the division) are visible in this shot.
