NGC6946

Updated: 12.14.02

NGC6946 is a large 11 arc-min, 8.9 magnitude galaxy in the constellation of Cepheus. It is deceivingly difficult to image with its very low surface brightness of mag 14! To date (12/14/02), this represents my longest exposure (125 minutes). Check out Super Nova 2002hh (lines) This image was taken at the CFAS site.
