NGC6888

The Crescent Nebula, designated as NGC6888, was formed from the ejection of gases of a Wolf-Rayet star. It is located in the constellation of Cynus and is in an area surrounded by faint emission nebulae. This shot was taken with the 10" Newtonian at f/4 during an outing to Chiefland over the September new moon.
