NGC3242

Updated: 6.29.02

NGC3242 is also known as the Ghost of Jupiter, not due to the appearance, but to it's size. It has a bluish hue to it which is immediately noticable in the scope. This shot was taken at f/6.3 on a slightly windy day (10mph), causing some tracking issues.
