NGC2392

The Eskimo Nebula, or NGC2392, is a bright planetary nebula located in the constellation of Gemini. This shot was performed on the 12" SCT at f/10 with excellent tracking throughout the imaging session. Average errors of 0.2 arc-sec on both axis were typical with virtually all individual data points at 0.5 arc-sec and less. As a result, all 44 images (2 minutes each) taken were suitable and utilized for stacking in the final image.
