NGC2024

The Flame Nebula is also in Orion and is in very close proximity to the left most star in the belt and the Horsehead Nebula. It goes by the alternate designation NGC2024. This image was taken at the Nov. 2001 Chiefland Star Party and is also featured on the 2002 Starlight Xpress camera brochure!
