Markarian

Markarian's Chain describes a sequence of brighter galaxies that resides in the constellation of Virgo. The brightest ones are Messier objects M86 and M84 to the right side of the chain. Markarian was actually cataloging galaxies having unusually strong UV radiation emissions, including 8 within this chain.
