M83

Updated: 6.29.02

Although low in the southern sky, M83 is an interesting galaxy located in Hydra. The galaxy is quite large, filling most of the ccd chip at approximately f/4. Again, use of hi-res self-guide allowed reasonable color balancing. This shot was taken at the dark site belonging to CFAS.
