M82

M82 is a very nice edge-on galaxy in Ursa Major and makes a nice wide angle view with M81. The lane detail is quite extensive and highlights the turbulence in the core from an external disruptive force. I sacrificed contrast to highlight the faint extensions in this particular image during processing.
