M76

Updated: 10.26.04

M76, a planetary nebula in the constellation of Perseus, is also known as the "Little Dumbbell Nebula". Visually, it resembles a smaller version of M27, the Dumbbell Nebula. This particular shot was a filler image, so only 60 minutes were spent. This was taken at Chiefland during the October new moon.
