M33

Updated: 1.7.05

This shot of M33, the Pinwheel Galaxy in Triangulum, was taken at Chiefland in December. It would have fit nicely using the SXV-M25 and 10" Newtonian, but was slightly off angle, clipping the top! There are quite a few emission nebulae embedded in the arms of the galaxy, including the larger NGC604 (bottom left of center). Many shoot a separate H-alpha frame in order to better highlight these emission regions.
