M16

Updated: 7.3.03

This image of M16, in Serpens, represents my yearly attempt at this beautiful object, otherwise known as the Eagle or Star Queen Nebula. The 'Pillars of Creation' are the main features, pointing to a nice star cluster. A trim pot on the camera was adjusted to remove the star bloating experienced on the last version (quite a difference!). This was taken at the Chiefland site under very steady skies!
