M13

Updated: 9.20.03

One of the favorite globular clusters in the north is M13, located in Hercules. This glob makes a nice comparison to M22, with a much sparser background. This was taken at the home site with the Tak Sky90 unguided. Again, there is a nice scattering of red supergiants across the face of the globular. Some field curvature is evident with the larger H9C chip, but this will be taken care of with the f/4.5 focal reducer/flattener in the near future.
