IC434/B33

Updated: 4.4.03

Here's yet another image of the Horsehead nebula taken with an 80mm AT1010 Stellarvue refractor. Due to the small focal length, the image portends a much wider field of view as compared to the previous LX200 image! The refractor is normally f/6, but the use of the Meade f/6.3 FR dropped this down to f/4.9. An IDAS LPR filter was also used to sharpen the stars a bit and darken the background. This image was taken at the CFAS club dark site.
