Although generally easier to image than the other fainter deepsky objects, star clusters represent a challenge to one-shot color cameras, due to the matrixed color filters on-chip. As a result, point sources are difficult to correctly color balance. The SXV-H9C though, with its smaller pixels, does an excellent job nonetheless.
