Leo Trio

Updated: 5.19.06

This shot of the Leo Trio was taken at the Allentown Site during the April new moon. It was a test of the newly purchased Keller Coma Corrector, which reduces the f/ratio by a factor of 0.73x (in this case, the newt was operating at approximately f/3!). This image was only an hours worth of exposure, but imaging extended objects at a fast speed is a nice advantage. This image was taken with the large format M25 camera from Starlight Xpress, which is currently on loan to me.
